Today was the first calm day we've had since we've been on the plains. It was nice not having to deal with any wind. We may not have had a tailwind, but we had a peaceful day. We rode straight east for 62 miles on Hwy 46.
At 40 miles we stopped for our second lunch at the Tastee Treat in Litchville. We also bought a couple of sandwiches for supper and headed for tonight's destination, Little Yellowstone Campground. This campground is in a river valley, so it is in a more wooded area and a break from the flat plains and farmland.
Shortly after arrival, we met Bruce. Bruce is bicycling from Oregon to Brunswick, Maine. His wife, Deah, and sister, Lesley, are driving their car along with him and taking side trips and sightseeing as they go.
